At Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard, we want people who make a difference. We also want to arm our employees with all the tools, training, and education they need to make that difference.
We do a lot of in-house training. Because the public relations profession is still relatively young in Russia, we rely more on the internal exchange of knowledge, ideas, and cases than on the publicly available training materials. We have senior people at Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard who were at the start of the industry and who regularly share the expertise and train the new and even old employees. Some of our staff are regular speakers at forums, congresses, and professional conferences. Members of top management of the agency are also top trainers for CEOs, boards of directors, and marketing groups. And we use this resource for internal training as well.
We started Vanguard University years ago to provide the necessary training for the new employees and recent graduates, and we repeat it with the new materials several times a year. We also teach employees how to share knowledge between the teams and the areas of expertise. And our all-agency brainstorms and creative sessions are great for learning.
But we don’t just train professional skills; we provide overall training in various disciplines, from public speaking to self-assurance, computer science, and personal development. With the access to Fleishman-Hillard’s global knowledge base and the source of expertise, we are at the forefront of education in public relations.
