Moscow – March 26, 2010 – Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard joins the Association of European Businesses (AEB). The AEB is an independent non-commercial organization which was established in 1995 on the initiative of several European companies registered in the Russian Federation, Ambassadors of EU member states and the Head of the Delegation of the European Commission to the Russian Federation. The AEB represents and promotes the interests of European companies conducting business in and with the Russian Federation.

Galina Skatkina, Head of Corporate and Public Affairs Practice of Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard, will represent the agency in the AEB Corporate Communications Committee. Galina is an expert in management of corporate communications campaigns with over 10 years of experience. Before joining Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard Galina was Project Director of large PR Holding IMA Group where she was responsible for strategic management of the key clients such as Christie’s, BNP Paribas, Royal Dutch Shell, Sakhalin Energy, VTB, Storm International, etc. She was also responsible for senior management of PR support of large scale governmental projects for Administration of the President of Russia, the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Culture, Central Election Commission, and Government of Moscow.

AEB membership is made up of enterprises and entrepreneurs from the member states of the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), which have business activities with and in the Russian Federation. These members form the AEB General Assembly (GA), which determines the overall strategy and policies of the association.
