On July 18, in the centre of Moscow, a unique automobile show took place called Bavaria Moscow City Racing. The legendary team Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 participated, supported by Lenovo, the world’s leader in the personal computer market.
Lenova computers were on display in Lenovo’s tents, located in a fan-zone and on the Moskvoretsky Bridge. Thanks to their racing simulator, guests of the event could feel like real racers in Bavaria Moscow City Racing.
Lenovo has been the official technical partner of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 since 2009. Laptops and desktop computers from Lenovo are used by Vodafone McLaren Mercedes command both on the racing line, and in headquarters. Engineers and experts of Lenovo adapted mobile wireless computer technology for use during Formula One races, and prepared fast and high-efficiency desktop computers for command’s boxes and pit-lanes.
