AKOS holds Round Table Discussion at “Design and Advertising Autumn 2011” Exhibition

On September 6th, the Russian Communications Consultancies Association (АКОS) held a round table discussion titled “Modern Marketing Communications and New Trends in Brand Promotion.” The AKOS round table began with the topic “Design and Advertising 2011, 100 Days before the New Year.”

Participants in the discussion included Tatyana Usmanova, Director of client services for Sokur and Partners; Nadejda Malkina, Assistant to the General Director of the communication agency AGT; Nikolay Sapronov, Director of development for the Agency of Corporate and Financial Communications for Primum. Maria Vahmistrova, acting Chief Executive of АКОS, took on the role of moderator for the event.

Tatyana Usmanov presented a report on the topic “Brand PR as the Basic Tool for Promoting a Company,” in which she talked about general trends in PR and presented examples from the Sokur agency.

Nadejda Malkina spoke on promotion work for public authorities, presenting examples from such projects as “Teacher’s Year 2010,” “Russian Education,” and “The Federal Education Development Program for 2011-2015.” Advertising modules of the Unified State Exam led to an active discussion.

Nikolay Sapronov shared his view on companies’ presence on the Internet, presenting a speech titled “Promotion of Brands by PR Agencies Using Internet Communications.” He used relevant examples from various PR agencies’ corporate sites.

“АКОS is a traditional partner of the ‘Design and Advertising’ exhibition which beginning this year will run not only in spring, but also in autumn. Also, we are glad to share our experience with the visitors of the exhibition, who take increasing interest in our round table every year,” Elena Fadeeva, chairwoman of АКОS, General Director of Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard says.
