The winners of the annual North American Effie Awards have been announced with Fleishman-Hillard winning both a gold and silver honor. The agency’s awareness campaign for AT&T, “Convincing Youth Not to Text”, earned a gold Effie in the GoodWorks-Brands category. In addition, work for the Office of National Drug Control Policy’s “Rise Above the Influence” campaign received a silver Effie in the Sustained Success category.
“We congratulate our North American colleagues on this success, as their marketing campaigns deserve the widest coverage and highest recognition,” – says Elena Fadeeva, General Director of Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard.
The Effie Awards were established by the American Marketing Association in 1968 to celebrate and share globally the best ideas in the field of brands promotion. Five regional and one global Effie Award are presented annually and indicate the highest recognition from professionals in marketing communications.
