Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard Will Provide PR Support for the "Global Energy" International Energy Prize

Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard communication agency has announced the start of cooperation with the “Global Energy” Non-profit Partnership. PR support for the award will be coordinated with Fleishman-Hillard offices in various countries, in particular with its headquarters in Brussels. During the campaign, teams in Moscow and Brussels will ensure promotion and media support for the award and its projects in Russia and abroad, the selection of experts in the energy field, a newsletter and other tasks.

The “Global Energy” International Energy Prize is one of the most prestigious international awards, presented annually since 2003 for outstanding scientific achievement in the energy field that has brought benefit to all mankind. Since the conception of the award, 27 scientists from nine countries – France, Germany, Iceland, Canada, Russia, USA, Ukraine, France and Japan – have won it. In 2012, the prize fund made up 33 million rubles. The list of advisors that nominates for the award consists of 1,600 scientists from 48 countries across the globe and is updated annually. For 10 years the project has become an umbrella brand, bringing together youth, media and other programs.

The “Global Energy” International Energy Prize was established with the support of the leading Russian energy companies – “Gazprom” JSC, “Surgutneftegaz” JSC and ” FGC UES” JSC.

A citizen of any state can win it. The decision to award the prize is made by the International Award Committee, which is composed of scientists and specialists from different countries and representatives of international scientific organizations. Currently the prize fund of “Global Energy” is 33 million rubles.

The “Global Energy” Award is an independent international award for outstanding achievements in research and scientific and technical development in the field of energy, which promote efficient use of energy resources and environmental safety in the interests of all mankind.

The award was established in 2002. The annual prize fund is 33 million rubles. Traditionally, the award is given by the President of Russia at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Since 2003, eminent scientists from France, Germany, Iceland, Canada, Russia, USA, France, Ukraine and Japan have won the award.
