FleishmanHillard Vanguard provided media support to Starwood Hotels & Resorts in the launch of the restored Hotel Imperial in Vienna, one of the most prominent and luxurious representatives of The Luxury Collection brand.
During the press tour organized by FleishmanHillard Vanguard’s team, journalists from Russia’s leading business and glossy publications attended the opening of the renovated hotel. Also present were Mr. Michael Wale, President for Europe, Africa & Middle East for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Mr. Thomas Willms, Senior Vice President, Regional Director East & Central Europe, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. The launch was attended by many prominent persons of international business, politics, the arts and show business. As a special guest former supermodel Helena Christensen attended in her role as brand ambassador for The Luxury Collection.
Esteemed British interior designer Alex Kravetz, who managed the renovation project in cooperation with the Bundesdenkmalamt (Austrian Federal Office for the Care of Monuments) led the journalists on a tour around the renewed public areas of the hotel, explaining the process of preservation of the building’s historic appearance, in particular of the legendary Café Imperial Wien.
