The United Code of Ethics in Communications shortlisted for the ICCO Awards 2015

The United Code of Ethics in Communications has been shortlisted for the ICCO Awards 2015. The initiative, developed by a Working Group lead by FleishmanHillard Vanguard General Director Elena Fadeeva, is unique for the Russian market. The Code for the first time in Russia and CIS sets up standards on ethical communications across all communications disciplines based on best international practices and is supported by Russian Communications Consultancies Association and 7 other industry organizations representing over 70% of PR professionals in the region. The program started with setting up the clear standards, created in dialog and was accepted industry-wide, followed by a clear implementation plan to promote compliance and meaningful change in the future as well as county-wide educational program.  It included teaching current and future professionals how to conduct successful campaigns while following ethical guidelines and celebrating best practices in this area with student and corporate awards for excellence in PR.

ICCO Awards is an inaugural awards program, globally recognized by over 32 PR trade associations across the world. The awards is judged by an elite global panel of top PR practitioners who consider the excellence and effectiveness of PR work from across the world. Awards ceremony will take place in London on 26 November 2015.
