The second “Media Manager of Russia 2016” National Award for Elena Fadeeva

FleishmanHillard Vanguard’s head Elena Fadeeva has been granted a Medal of Honor of the National Award “Media Manager of Russia 2016” – one of the oldest and most reputable professional awards in the country. It celebrates the most significant achievements in the sphere of media business and communications and is considered to be one of the highest recognition of professionalism and mastership in management.

Elena is a renowned leader in media and communications market in Russia. She takes an active position in the community, contributing to the development of the communications industry in the region. Elena was one of the founders of the Russian Communications Consultancies Association (AKOS) and its chairwoman between 2008 and 2012. During her term there, Elena formulated the main priorities for the development of the association. Elena also represented Russia at the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO). She is currently an honorary chairwoman of AKOS. In 2014, Elena headed the working group on development of the United Code of Ethics in Communications, which gained support of 7 of the industry’s main associations. The Code sets the main ethical standards in all areas and types of communication. Elena is Vice-President of the Russian Public Relations Association (RASO), Head of the Ethics Committee as well as the Working Group on Communications at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), in addition to being chairwoman of the Professional Services Committee at the Russian Managers Association.

Elena Fadeeva also takes an active part in the development of professional education in communications. She is an associate professor at the National Research Institute – Higher School of Economics and curates educational programs at the Faculty of Philosophy at the Lomonosov Moscow State University and St. Petersburg State University. She is a co-organizer of the Leadership Dialogue Forum and Eventiada Awards which is the largest platform bringing together creative young people and communications professionals.

Elena is a recipient of numerous prizes and awards, including the Media Manager of Russia 2013 Award for Contribution to the Industry, and was featured in the Top 1000 Russian Managers rankings for three straight years (2012-2014) in the Top Executives category (Russian Managers Association together with Kommersant Publishing).
